Plant the Seed
Grant Application

For Musician and Song Writers.  Recipients will receive assistance to copywright their creation and register their song with ASCAP. They will also be presented at our annual open mic night. A prize the equivalent of $500 will be dispersed to the winner. 

Please upload a video, 2-3 minutes long:


1) Tell us about yourself. How long have you been writing? What motivated you to get started?


2) Give us a short synopsis of your play.


3) Tell us how this grant will help you bring your play to life.

Be creative in showing us why you are the best candidate.

Application fee
$15

A non-refundable $15 application fee is required for all grant submissions.

By signing, I acknowledge that purchasing the Scriptwriting Class does not guarantee a grant award.


Scriptwriting Class students are not required to apply for this grant.


Grant recipients must participate in the Playwrights Festival.
