For many artists, there is a barrier between the ideas in their heads and bringing this vision to fruition. Excellent Productions provides up and coming artists with start up grants to help them execute their visions in addition to various opportunities to advance their artistic skills.

Playwrights Grant

Take your play from the page to the stage with the tools to write an unforgettable stage play that will capture your audience's attention.

Playwrights may be awarded up to $1,000 to fund props, backdrops, and other production needs.

Playwrights will be provided sound equipment, lighting, and actors.

Plant the Seed Grant

This grant is for up and coming artists in the Baltimore area with unique talent who need funding to take their artistic abilities to the next level.

Often times the barrier to execution is a lack of funding and the tools necessary to allocate funds properly.
